NPAC and CIArb jointly launched Accelerated Route to Fellowship course for the first time in India on December 11,12 and 13, 2015.
We also conducted the Associate Level course on December 11 and 12, 2015.

NPAC and CIArb conducted the Member Level Module I & II courses on August 7, 8, & 9, 2015.
Nani Palkhivala Arbitration Centre (NPAC) Chennai in association with Forum of Free Enterprise, Mumbai jointly with Ethiraj College for Women, Chennai conducted a Leadership Programme for college students for the sixth year in Chennai on August 28 & 29, 2015. It was attended by 112 students from all over Tamil Nadu.

Palkhivala Foundation and Sankara Nethralaya joined hands to host the Palkhivala Foundation Memorial Lecture on Thursday, 9th July 2015. Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul, Chief Justice, Madras High Court unveiled the portrait of (late) Sri Nani A Palkhivala at Sankara Netralaya and gave a Special address. Prof. Dr. V. K. Raju M. D, F. R. C. S, F. A. C. S., Faculty, Department of Ophthalmology, West Virgnia University, Morgantown, USA delivered a lecture on “From Nani Palkhivala to V. S. Naipaul”.

MCCI organised the Legal Conclave 2015 – March of Jurisprudence on June 6, 2015 at Chennai. NPAC took an active part for this event as an Associate partner. This legal conclave helped the participants to understand various new rules and regulations, amendments etc. that were essential for their business. It was well represented by corporate heads, directors, company secretaries, legal heads, secretarial officers, HR managers and other corporate executives.

NPAC – CIArb jointly launched Member Level Module I Arbitration Course in India, for the first time on 13th and 14th March 2015. We also conducted the Associate level course on 13th & 14th March 2015.
February 2015
NPAC organized its Annual International Conference on “Establishing an Effective Arbitration Regime – Challenges and Opportunities” at Mumbai on February 14, 2015. Hon’ble Mr.Justice A.P.Shah, Chairman, Law Commission of India, delivered the inaugural address. Mr.P.K.Malhothra, Secretary, Department of Legal Affairs, Ministry of Law and Justice, Govt. of India, delivered the Special Address. Speakers from India & Abroad shared their views and suggestions for the progress and spread of arbitration.

October & November 2014
Nani Palkhivala Arbitration Centre & Chartered Institute Of Arbitrators (UK) jointly launched Member Level Module II Arbitration Course in India, for the first time on October 31st, November 1st & 2nd 2014. The course was delivered with a combination of private study and face-to-face tutorials. NPAC – CIArb together had conducted Associate level course on November 14 & 15, 2014.

Palkhivala Foundation & NPAC joined hands with Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Chennai Kendra, and Nani A.Palkhivala Memorial Trust, Mumbai to host a Lecture on “Indian Cultural Heritage in Nani Palkhivala’s Vision – Contemporary Reflections” by Dr.Shashikala Gurpur (Director & Dean, Symbiosis Law School, Pune).

Nani Palkhivala Arbitration Centre (NPAC) Chennai in association with Forum of Free Enterprise, Mumbai conducted a Leadership Programme for the fifth year in Chennai on August 16 & 17, 2014 at Ethiraj College for Women, Chennai. 102 students from all over Tamil Nadu participated and benefited from the training programme.

NPAC hosted the International Conference on “Strengthening Arbitration in India” on March 15, 2014 at ITC Grand Chola, Chennai. Hon’ble Mr.Justice A.P.Shah, Chairman, Law Commission of India, inaugurated the conference and delivered the inaugural address. It was attended by 220 participants from various fields. Our panelists were a mix of Indian and International experts in the field of Arbitration.

Nani Palkhivala Memorial Lecture on India and the World was delivered by Hon’ble Shri. Narendra Modi (Chief Minister of Gujarat) on October 18, 2013 at University Centenary Auditorium, Chennai. Shri. Arun Shourie’s (Journalist, Author and Former Union Minister) gave a talk on his newly released book “Self Deception: India’s China Policies”. Mr.Cho Ramaswamy, Editor “Thuglak” Presided and also spoke on Shri.Arun Shourie’s book.

NPAC – CIArb Associate level Course on Arbitration was conducted on September 27 & 28, 2013. It was well attended by Lawyers, Law students, Chartered Accountants & Engineers.

Palkhivala Foundation Memorial Lecture was delivered by Mr.Bishan Singh Bedi on “Is Cricket facing Credibility Crisis”, on July 13th 2013 at Rani Seethai Hall, Chennai.

The Nani Palkhivala Arbitration Centre on its endeavors to provide opportunities for interaction among professionals in the field of Arbitration conducted an international Conference on “Recent Trends in Arbitration” on March 16th 2013 at Hotel Hyatt Regency, New Delhi, India. It was inaugurated by former Law Minister Mr.Ashwani Kumar. Eminent speakers from various countries participated and shared their views.

January & February 2013
The Advanced Arbitration Training course in collaboration with the Associate for International Arbitration, Belgium was conducted from January 19th – February 16th on four consecutive Saturdays. Many Students participated in this Course.

NPAC has been working in an Eco-friendly fashion. We inaugurated the solar panels installed in our centre on December 26, 2012.

Palkhivala Foundation and The Madras Bar Association hosted a lecture by Lord Peter Henry Goldsmith, Former Attorney General of England, Wales and Northern Ireland on THE ART OF ADVOCACY at the High Court Library Annexe Building, High Court, Madras on August 24th 2012 . Former Advocate General of Tamil Nadu Mr.R.Krishnamoorthy Presided over the function.
Nani Palkhivala Memorial Lecture
The Palkhivala Foundation in association with Madras Book Club and HarperCollins Publishers India jointly hosted a lecture by Mr.Arun Shourie (Journalist, Author and Former Union Minister) on Judicial Activism and the Alternatives at Rani Seethai Hall.
The next AIA – NPAC was started on August 25 2012 ai Nani Palkhivala Arbitration Centre.
